94 probe GT.. need ecu for it, HELP

My sons Probe got broke into and the stereo and speakers were stolen. While they were taking his cd player they also must have thought the the ecu that is located under the stereo was an amp and they took that also. So that is why his car has been running like crap with that ecu unit gone. Anyone know where we can get the correct ecu unit for his car used??? Any help would be great!!!!! Thanks Ron
I can get you all the numbers from his vehicle if needed as we have been told that there are about 6 different types of ecu's made for that car and you have to get the correct one. We have had no luck in finding the right one and a new one costs too much.

Shouldn't your insurance cover for a new ecu?

I have 2 1993 gts here. One is a early 93 and the other a late 93. I have been told that the only real difference in the ecu (rather the pcm) is whether it is for a standard or an auto. If you can find out for sure if that is the case. I will part with either one of these. Both these cars are auto.

Yes the 93 and 94 are the same, and as bargersaudio said the only difference is for manual or automatic. If you don't find one here, check ebay listings or put in a "want it now" posting on ebay.
