97 Cutlass - ABS Light & Low Trac
I'm having some ABS problems with my car. The issue is intermittent so troubleshooting has been a bit difficult and I can't afford several trips to the dealer to hopefully fix the problem...
Occasionally, when braking lightly around 20km/h, the LOW TRAC light will come on and the ABS will kick in. This is on dry pavement and I know I'm not slipping. Also, fairly often, the ABS light will come on and stay on. I had a mechanic pull the codes and (if I remember correctly) it indicated as issue with the front, right controller. He said that this could be anything from a bad sensor in the hub to a loose wire to a bad computer. I did find that TSB 73-50-26 has information regarding my car and ABS, but I can't find a copy to see if it's relevant. Does anyone know what this TSB is about? I'm considering replacing both front hubs as the car has 150,000km on it. The bearings don't seem loose, but if I remember correctly, wheel bearings don't last forever. Can anyone make a suggestion as to what I should do?

Low Traction Light and ABS
Low Tration Light was coming on, 1996 Cutlass Supreme, as it turns out I replaced all 4 struts. All were absolutely worthless. You could lift up on the strut shaft, let it go andit would just fall right back into the strut.
The Low Trac lamp was lighting because my tires were not staying in contact with the road at stopping and sometimes relatively high speed on washboard type road surfaces. Replaced struts, problem gone. Now as far as the ABS lamp coming on, my just did that and went out, I will need to be certain the sensors located at each wheel are free of debris... to late now to see so will follow-up tomorrow

FWIW, the problem with my 97 Cutlass was a bad wiring harness on the front left ABS sensor. It took some time for my mechanic to find it, but they did.

I Noticed You Stated That He Mechanic Replaced The Wiring To The Left Front Sensor.
In Your Original Post You Indicated That The Mechanic Stated That The Codes Were Indicating Trouble With The Right Front Wheel Sensor "and/or" Componenets. What Hapened If You Don't Mind Me Asking That Caused Them To Decide It Was The Opposite Wheel Causing The Problem?
