94 starting problems
Need some help here. My 94 has been having some trouble starting. At first I thought it was due to the cold because it was just a little slow to turn over, however, it got worse and worse until it wouldnt start at all. When I put the jump pack on it, it starts right away. My battery meter reads a steady 14 volts. any ideas?

Re: 94 starting problems
Clean off the Battery terminals with a wire brush, and both ends of the Pos and negative cables. Make sure they're tight. Had the same problem with a friends car. Wouldn't start unless jumped. Cleaned the terminals on the old battery and it started right up. They didn't even look like they needed to be cleaned, but it worked.

Re: Re: 94 starting problems
Just because your alt. is putting out 14 volts does not mean your battery is staying charged. After y ou clean the post put a volt meter on the battery and have a friend try to start you truck for you. If the voltage drops below 12 volts your battery is on it's last leg.
