Angry Starting Problems

Can anyone please help me before I go crazy and blow up my car. I have a 1997 pontiac 3.8L V6. I am having problems starting my car. I know that the starter is fine because when I jump the starter it turns over. It started acting up and all I did was tighten the positive wire to my battery and it started up fine and worked for a while but then stopped working. I just replaced the igniton switch because I figured that it was bad, in which it was, but that still didn't solve my problem. I am getting power to the ignition switch and my turn signals, but I am getting any power at all to my dash. My horn works, radio, headlights, and everything else, but for some reason there is no power going to my dash. Nothing on my dash works at all, no pre-engine lights or anything, not even a power reading of the battery. The car doesn't turn over at all when ever I try to start it with the key. I replaced the battery thinking maybe it could have something to do with it but, still no help to my problem. Can someone please help.

check if you accidentally pulled a wire under the dash, when doing your work, would be my guess.

Re: Starting Problems

This was happening before I pulled anything from under the dash. I have checked everything under the dash twice and it is all connected

Re: Starting Problems

If its the same problem I've been having it's your key. The two metal prongs on each side are worn and not registering with the computer. Get a new ignition key.
