Push Button Start..pics

I said I would throw some pics up when i got it done, well it's been done for a while, this is what mine looks like. PM me if you wanna know how it's done. It's really easy.

Everyone says "Ooo, what that big red button for?" Then I say "Just push it." Then it's great to see the look on their face when it starts my car.

Cool. That's a very big red button though. You don't even need a key then?

quix, does the 5k redline bother you visually? Do you ignore it and just run up to like 7k rpms? Aftermarket tach? Just wondering...

Nope, after driving it for over 2 years, it's just like having a woman for that long, you deal with it.

My car doesn't have much power after 6 grand anyway, so I don't have to go very far.

I do need a key to turn the fuel system on. It will turnover but nothing will happen.

I took my clutch activation thing out a long time ago, so I'm not sure.

That is pretty cool man. I put a remote starter in my 91 accord and it was pretty cool..could never get the remote door locks to work though, lol.

I need to get my g/fs digi cam so I can get up some new pics of my crx..it's lowered about 2 inches now and afew other little things. And I got my windows tinted..not quiet as dark as yours but they look pretty nice.

How's the beastly dsm running these days?

The same. Kinda weird. I do preventative maintenance, then something fucks up. LOL Leave it to DSM.

It runs fine till you're WOT at like 5 grand and then it will sputter kinda like fuel cutoff or something.

It's the little box that controles you boost to the turbo. there is a vac that runs from the turbo to this little box cant remeber what it's called sorry. But that sound like the prob. min did that too when i would race it would just dump really hard and i could not get over 5and a half rpm. try that if that dont work let me know. like i said don't ask them at the DSM forum they are assholes........

SORRY, here it called an actuator, and here is a good site for you do get some stuff here.....http://www.vfaq.com/index-main.html

hook fs up to toggle and hide it under the seat or soemthign, that way you dont need key, just do some engeneering and figgure a way for the break or something to kill it, wire a switch to the e break or something, up is on and down is off, something

i got a bunch of missle switches (i think i have 5 of em) and all my accessories are gonna run off those, one is going to be a kill switch for my push start

YES, go to a mitsu dealer and get one. Are you boosting really high with no mods? I can't seem to find any pics, but it is a free mod. I think it's really called a boost siolenoid.

I have a rewired fuel pump that's it. I'm only boosting 11lbs, sometimes spike real quick to 13.

Re: Push Button Start..pics

Yeah that sounds like your prob, take some pics of the motor and i'll tell you where it is. You may just wanna go to the yard and get one too see if that is the prob. When mine went out i didn't know it till i put it on the dino and the fuil cut off the screen, and i was boosting at 19lbs.
