sc tuning
i've heard people talk about the max a sc can do, like 930hp.
when I go look at the stats though on a site thats selling it, it'll say 450hp. how do you go about tuning a sc to do the max? they all say its not difficult |

Re: sc tuning
What kind of compressor? Generally you would run a smaller pully to turn the compressor faster. The size of the compressor also matters. But simply turning up the boost isn't just nuts and bolts. Adding more fuel for the added air is actually the most important part of tuning along with adjusting the ignition timing to avoid knock. Upgrading internals will be required at some point.
Instruments needed for tuning should include: a Wideband O2 sensor If you are supercharging a vehicle equipped with an OBD system, a scanner will be most helpful to give you timing readouts as timing will vary a lot over the throttle % range. A dyno equipped shop will have these instruments, or should.
