CA18DET vs. SR20DET Fuel Pump

Are they the same? Anyone know how much they flow exactly? Can a CA18DET fuel pump work on a KA24DE?

Re: CA18DET vs. SR20DET Fuel Pump

probably similar to the sr pump but not the ka since the sr and ca are both f/i.. why are you so concerned with the fuel pump from those cars? walbro's are cheap and are seen in cars pushing 400whp.. maybe more

Re: CA18DET vs. SR20DET Fuel Pump

Look, what you do is put the CA pump up on ebay and call it "Full JDM Tyte Fuel Pump Straight From Japan YOUZ GOTTA NEED THIS FOR POWER FROM 240SX!!!!!!!!" You'll sell it for at least 150$. You then proceed to take that money and buy a Walbro 255lph pump.

Re: CA18DET vs. SR20DET Fuel Pump

haha seriously.. money constraint??
let me get this straight.. you're probably spending more than $2500 on this and don't want to buy a $100 fuel pump??

Re: CA18DET vs. SR20DET Fuel Pump

you're the most anal person thats been on this forum since i joined. the ca and sr will most likely have the same pump, which will obviously flow more than the stock ka since they're both f/i.. IF the ca and sr pumps are different, how much different would they be?? 5-10lph??? is that gonna make such a difference??

Re: CA18DET vs. SR20DET Fuel Pump

if the pumps are in-tank then chances are it'll work, especially if they're from nissan
