Wow. I've never seen that pic before, thanks. I have no info on it. Where did you find the pic?

Most likely that is good old #065 as Singapore was its reported landing point after leaving the London showroom and being sold by McLaren last year.

Cool pic - its nice to see they didn't change much before it went - Thanks!!

Unfortunately, the www.automobilmanfactur.com website appears to be down or simply not created. It's a dead link for me.

Cool - I hope that you get to see the car and can bring some stuff back to share.

I happen to think the web is a wonderful place, as I just managed to find these two additional photos of #065 in the showroom in Singapore.

The car looks perfect!

Re: Re: F1 in Singapore

Okay here's the story!

That's 065 from the london showroom, the only "brand new" specimen left.
Automobil Manufactur bought the car. It was in a room with a Zonda S and a Mercedes CLK GTR.

It isn't for sale (although everything has a price) and I didn't get to get in because the keys were locked up in a safe and the boss wasn't around. Anyway i know now that its more or less permanently here so I can return anytime and maybe catch them when they start the car for its weekly warmup.

Anyway, on a side note, i got taken for a ride (these guys are really nice and not snooty) in a limited edition 620bhp handcrafted Merc E55. That baby has so much low end torque it presses you to the back of the seat and the press of a pedal.

Insane

Anyway I didn't take that many shots because I was busy talking to them about it (I can always go again), but I don't know how to host them.

Sweet - glad to hear that you got to see the car and that they were so friendly and open - that's pretty rare. It's also good to know this thing isn't lost forever or hidden away somewhere.

I'm happy to hear I was correct on it being #065. Lucky guess really...

Anyway, you can put up your pics on Imagestation.com and provide a link, or use Imageshack.us and post the pics as you upload them, or you can email them to me and I will make sure they make it on here.

BTW: If you do get inside the car at some point, I'd love to get a photo or find out what is written on that small plaque on the left chassis spar ahead of the e-brake handle. I don't recall seeing anything like that in any other McLarens in the past. I assume it has some significance relating to the car being the last one sold, but I could be wrong.

Re: F1 in Singapore

I can get some pics of the Zonda S, the E-Class and SL-Class by FAB design and also some Ferraris from that showroom.

Does anyone want to see them?
