crvtec ????????????
yo i need some info on the crvtec swap i have a jdm b16 with gsr tranny and ecu. what i need to know is how much it will cost to swap out the b16a block for a b20 i know i need to block off the oil feed journal on the head and add a oil feed line to the block and widen the dowel pins on the block. i just want to know if any of you honda techs out there know what is going on with that any info would be great. prices for the conversion is what im looking for.

What b20 are you using? The b20's were esentially a ls bored to a 2.0, which means it cylinder walls are thinner. It should be ok for a vtec head, but any FI probally wouldnt be a good idea. So it would probally be better (not nessacry but why risk it) to get a block girdle or reinforse the block in some sort. The one thing I do love about the b20 is it price. Hmotorsonline has the b20b (126 horse) for 699. http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...Engines&hit=20
However, if you have the chance get the b20z (143 horse) or the b20A5 (135 horse and from 87-91 Prelude 2.0 SI. If you get the b20b or z I belive you'll have to get a different ECU because I believe they are obd-2... don't quote me on that...
