Just give NASCAR a chance

Befor I started visiting this web site I thought "ricers" were the stupidest cars I ever saw. I started listneing, reasearching and came to a conclusion. I found that it is not as stupid as I thought because I gave it a chance. I think you may find that NASCAR is as or maby more exciting as other types of raceing, if you give it a chance.

I wouldn't go that far man...nascar is exciting....but JGTC is pretty exciting too. maybe even more that nascar

I used to love NASCAR when I was 12-14, the I went to INDY, I have tried to watch it again but I just don't get into it, I last like 5 minutes into the race.

Nascar is exciting to watch, but not as exciting as figure 8 bus racing.

Ya, Scott their is a track in southern Ohio that holds a yearly figure 8 bus race, last year we were going, but never did.

I have trouble getting into any racing where the cars are "the same." I know they not really identical, but you know what I mean. I also know it's really more about the drivers than the cars, but not knowing any of the drivers, I can't really use that as a starting point if I'm "just getting into" the races.

I have the same problem with Indy and F1. It's also why I do like GT, TC and rally racing.

I agree with jay here. It really is hard to get into something if you don't have favorites to root for. You eventually develop them though, as the politics of the racing goes on and on.
