I am personally a believer in the argument that "global warming" is just a big hoax. What we are (generally) experiencing in elevated climatic concentrations of CO2 are IMO just reflective of long term oscillations in climatic proportions of gases.

If you examine ice cores dating back thousands of years, you will see that CO2 levels (as well as the concentrations of other gases that compose the air we breathe and the upper atmosphere) have risen and fallen. It is deceptive, because in the time that the technology to measure CO2 concentrations has become available, we have been seeing a steady increase.

With what we are experiencing now, it is certainly feasible that atmospheric CO2 concentrations could be behaving exactly the same way if we, and our industries, cars, etc. that produce CO2 emissions didn't even exist.

And warm it will be staying til next November. Tell her to enjoy it while she's here cuz she will NOT want to be here in July or August...unless she likes 110+ temperatures.

Well, the weather in my area (massachusetts) is all f*cked up. It only snowed a total of like, 3 inches the entire winter. the average temperture for the winter was like, 40 degrees. and we're suposed to get crazy snow during winters.

That's not the issue. It's well known that CO2 cyclically rises and falls. But the problem is that since the industrial age, the level of CO2 has risen precipitously--significantly higher than any past CO2 peak.

If you look at the past trends, you'll see that natural causes alone cannot contribute to this sharp rise.
