switch from linkage to...???

hi, my problem is i have a 69 mustang which was auto and im going manuel. i bought the clutch pedal assembly but no linkage. the trany i bought is the tremec 500. i have serched and found a kit to switch it from linkage to hydralic but i heard from a source that u dont get enough push to the slave cylender.i was wondering if anyone have switched to hydralic and had this problem? any info would be greatly apreciated. thanks lucas
