15" tires for 91 Ford Probe LX???

I need to buy new tires soon and I wasn't sure if any 15" tire can go on my 91 Ford Probe LX? When I was looking online for tire matches most places didnt have a 15" that would fit my vehicle rotation or something. Any help or info would be helpful.

just check the number on your tire and look around for that number, the last number ex. 200 is the thickness of the tire that doesn't matter. just the rims size and the width of the rim. And the mustang has the exact same size rim so it shouldn't be that hard to find.

Actually, the tire thickness does matter. If it's rated for a 185/70r14, as both my 89 and 91 are, and you put a 195/70r14 on it, your tires will rub on the rear strut housing and possibly the fender well. With a 15" wheel, although I'd check with the tire tech first (and I don't mean the counter guy at Wal-Mart, but a guy who makes his whole business on tires), I'd suggest no larger than a 165/65r15. Actaully i had a 92 lx with 16's and it fit and drove fine.

Yes, but what tire size did you have on it? I'm gonna guess that if it was any higher than a 145 they were probably profiles?
