Where to find tiny measuring cups?

I want to use some measuring cups to mix paint (Anal, I know, but I'd rather spend 5 minutes now than go nuts later when it doesn't look right, or I can't reproduce it), and my LHS only has those shot glass-size cups. They do go down to 2.5mm, but that's about 1 or 2mm tall, which isn't really exact.

Anybody know of any smaller cups with fine gradiations, like down to 1ml?

So it doesn't sound so bad, I'll be using them for small amounts of casting material in the future, so I do need to be exact there.

Did you think of using pipettes, like you would for chemistry?

I use glass medicine droppers to transfer the color from bottle to bottle, but I want to be able to combine like 5ml of flat yellow with 2ml of red accurately.

Those cups, the 1oz kind, are what my LHS has. The gradiations are fine enough, just that the 2.5ml mark is almost at the bottom of the cup.

I think the art supply store in town has some kind of syringes with gradiations on them, might be worth a lot. Might have some smaller bottles or cups too.

I wish I had a handful of those 1/4oz Testors jars, I'd just mark the sides and use them (Specific quantity doesn't matter, the ratio does).

How about a digital scale that reads down to .1 grams?

Thought about that, and it's an option for if/when I got into casting heavily, but for right now some cups would suffice.

Tried the art-supply store, and they didn't even have the 1-ounce cups the LHS had. I guess I'll get a set and use it to fill and make some marks on these extra Testors bottles.

I found that Tamiya has mixing jars with marks for 5, 10, 15 etc ml, but they are pricey.

Syringes are cheap (about AU$0.30 each), easy to get (any chemist/drug store) and come in a variety of sizes and gradients.

Only down side are the strange looks you get from the pharmacist when you front up to the counter with a box of latex gloves in one hand, a bottle of rubbing alcohol is the other and say "and 20 syringes please."

Before I got my scale I was looking around for these small cups as well. From what I remember I found some on eBay that had really small graduations. Of course they only had it in bulk, and buying a $30 digital scale was much more cost-effective for me.

What I did was weigh out my resin parts using the existing 1 oz. cups I had. For example Part A is 32grams per ounce, and Part B is 26g per oz. If I want to half that, I pour 16g of A and 13g of B into cheap disposable "Dixie" paper cups, in my case cute little Pooh Bear cups that I bought cheap at the supermarket.

As much as they like to tell you how "easy" it is to clean those plastic measuring cups, the resin will eventually stick to it and you'll have to throw them away. Not sure about paint, but hope some of this helps anyway.
