Ajdust you cable if you have cable tranny and see if that helps, and if ya feel froggy just put a stage 1 or 2 clutch kit in, you can get them for not too much more that a stock kit 50-70 bucks more or so depending on the brand. Any on have any luck with exedy clutch kits?

I would also adjust my clutch cable or better yet, try to replace it. They are fairly cheap. Made a world of difference on my 89 DX with 220,000 miles. Later on I did a motor swap but, the clutch cable did the trick.

what kinda oil do you have in the tranny? If you have gear oil that may be why. Our trannys are stock with motor oil in them. I think 10w40 but im not sure. Alot of people put 85w gear oil in their trannys.

Exedy Stage 1 "Street/Strip" d-series clutch kit is pretty sweet... along with ACT 11.9lb. flywheel, etc...

the twist knob; is it for the shifter? It has 185k kms on it. If i did go with a new clutch kit, would it improve the cars performance dramatically and how much would it cost to install?

Re: Clutch letting out 2 high

Labor is free if u do it your self, haha if ya get a good kit look at spending 150-200 bucks. Labor would probably cost as much if not more than the amount of the clutch if you take it to a shop, depending on who ya know.
