Leaking fluid
I have a 99' Blazer that has had the oil lines to the filter replaced. I am getting about drop (No more) evry 24 hrs on a mat I placed under the front of the truck. After looking up into the oil filter access hole it seems like the leak may be from the power steering pump. Do they make a sealer I can put in there?

Re: Leaking fluid
The sealers work by swelling up the seals in the pump. I would first check exactly where the leak is and repair it correctly. Could be hose, line, fitting, pump drive seal, or housing.

In the same area as your oil lines, I found the seal on the top of my steering box was going allowing fluid to seep past on the bolts and run down onto the skid plate.

This seems to be where mine is leaking, was it a part you were able to change or did the dealer need to do it. |

The dealer did mine under warranty, so I'm not sure what was involved to do the seal.
