internals question

how much boost would my car be able to hold with stock internals without blowing the engine?
is a 1995 honda civic ex 1.6 vtrec soch d16z6
some one told me only 5 is that true ?

ive heard between 5-7 is safe, but ive also heard that it could handle 10 on occation

depends on what turbo you're using. A small mitsubishi turbo you may be able to use around 10 psi daily and not have problems. With something like a t3/t4 I wouldn't go above 7 or 8. It also depends a lot, and I mean a lot, on how well your motor is tuned.

im putting a t3/t4 turbo do u know how many psi the come stock ?

omg you bought the SS autochrome kit didn't you. I'm sorry to tell you, but that is a horrible kit. As to how much boost you'll be seeing, it depends on the spring inside the wastegate.

no noi no is not the ss turbo kit this is just a pic that it looks almost like my turbo so u dont know how much psi the turbo comes stock is it 7 or 8 ?

no, when you buy a wastegate you have the option of choosing which spring they include with it. If you bought a complete kit you'd have to ask the seller.

BTW: I'm glad you didn't get that shitty kit
