It happened. After 2 years. I was taking a left into the local McDonalds, and next thing, I was sitting there in a haze of smoke. My poor Geo was hit by a mitsubishi eclipse gs-t that was going pretty fast. The right side of the Geo was pushed inwards, and it bent the frame pretty bad. Luckily no one was hurt badly but it looks like its time to buy a new car. Any suggestions? I want something really cheap, but with more than 72hp.

Re: crash
Actually, the Dodge Daytona is a pretty good car for the price. I have an 87 model i'm fixing up. a late 80's or early 90's model daytona is a pretty dependable and actually has pretty good get up and go. just something to look into. how much you looking on spending? i assume not much considering you had a geo, lol.

Re: crash
Yeah, it kinda suprised me. I'm going to buy a Volvo 850R but I don't quite have enough yet, ao I just need a "beater" with a little bit of kick.

Re: crash
Your asking this in the street racing forum so im guessing you want something fast. Why not just spend the money fixing your 944?

Re: crash
Yeah, after driving my friends 1995 850 Turbo I was like "I wouldn't mind having one of these, but faster!" hence the 850 T5R

Re: crash
'87 or '88 Chevy Sprint Turbo.
Cheap, realiable, amazing gas mileage and you would be shocked by it's performance (acceleration, braking and handling!)

I'm with Vetteman, go with a TD.
They're inexpensive, reliable, and fast. You can also make em' run in the 12s for under $2,000. |
