96 & 95 Transmissions

Can anyone tell if the trans out of a 95 taurus will work in a 96 both have the 3.0 Vulcan engine"?

Nope. 95 is obdI and 96 is OBDII. There are solenoids and wiring in the 96 that is not in the 95.
