i got a2001 ford focus se from them with a five speed tranny. so after i bought it 3 days later i heard anew chattering noise, brought it to then they test driver said, WITH out a doubt it comming from the tranny, so when they go it into the shop they changed their minds and said it was a vibration heat shield, i said great, as soon as it was out of the lot, the same noise. so i brouight it back and they changed a , uh, driveshart bearing, ok great, fixed i though NOPE brought it back again. oh this time it was my winsheild washer fluid resiviour, so they fixed it but didnt hoko it back up so the rattle still existed bc this want the problems and i didnt have fluid for WS wipers. so i bring it back yet again, and this time i noticed that it isnt shifting well, the stick isnt moving well, so i tell them and they ,of course, cant find anything wrong and they once again they BSed me and this time they replaces a piece of exhaust flex pipe, becasue they guy brought me in the shop and showed me a noise my WACKING the crap out of the tailpipe. then he said. thers your noise, ok so i finnaly think its fixed. BUt NO, so the next day i bring the damn thing back, this time they said AGIN its was a ranny noise they got in the car and off wen the car to another dealership, after a breif wating period my car was back, quote" we cant find any noise, ok, so i leav and still does it, once again i came back the next day, another tranny noise, they get it in the shop and have like 5 people dirve it, this time they Know its a cracked pressure plate and something else, BUT WAIT, MAGICLY now my warentee is up AND THEI not going tofix it. THEY WAITED UNTILL THE WARENTEE WAS GONE THEN THEY KNEW THE PROBLEM< ISNT THAT WIERD< HMMMMMM THATS MY CRAPPY CLAIR EXperience. There.

well the ford "fsck this" focus has to be the worst car on the market, i like its looks but its awful, review magazines suck up to manufacturers so they can test drive the better cars from the company first (read, new mustang).

consumer reports/other independant reviewers have given that car the worst ratings in just about every category

all dealerships are out to get your money, do not believe for a second that there exists honest dealerships, and you will be prepared...they are all out to screw you just like any other business, some just screw less than others to get repeat business

sure he may cut you a deal below msrp and youre like oh wow what a deal, but he doesnt tell you theres been recalls or theres a promo offer so hes gonna make a lot of money even if you think hes gonna lose money...

all of em are sheisters...and how come they always have greasy hair? lol

anyways i never go to ford dealerships ive been to a half dozen and i swear they must be owned by the same guy theyre as crooked as they come, a guy i work with used to work there and he talks like a ford car dealer all day it drives me nuts its like hes trying to sell you a product in a normal conversation

You shouldn't have had to bring it back. The second it makes the sound, you know its there. And the second that it makes the sound is going to be when you shift.

Did you tell the people what the test driver said, or did you just let them do w/e with your car?

You said you bought the car, and 3 days later it started having the problem. Then at the end, the clincher is the warranty is over. The shortest term I've seen from a dealership on a warranty (which is rare) is one month. How long did it take you between each experience to go back to them and complain?

If you don't report it in a timely manner, when you *know* that the warranty is close to expiration, then its your fault.

tis isnt true i have bought vehicles from dealerships new and used and never had crap, they treat me nicely, sell me a nice NON crap product they just Blow A$$ i hate them
