Memory seats

I just got my new 2005 Envoy last week. It has the memory seats for driver 1 and 2. I can't get it to work by using the keyfob. I have 2 friends who have Envoys (2002 and 2004). Both of them when they hit the unlock on the keyfob it sets the seats and mirrors to that passenger matching the keyfob number. I can't make mine do that. Is anyone else having trouble with this feature?

Are you remembering to go into the information control panel (through the steering wheel controls)? If you get into the menu I think you can set it in there so that the memory presets take effect either when you unlock with the FOB or when you put the key in the ignition or not at all.

I don't have that setting for some reason. I think it's called "memory seats recall", atleast it is on my friends Envoy. It seems odd that all the Envoy's - except for the '05s would have this feature.
