Stripped Distributor Rotor screw

Has anyone stripped the phillips screw that holds the rotor in place? Now how do you remove this thing? Its like the screw was made of soft metal and practically feels like it was tightened down by Godzilla!

i almost stripped mine, but i managed to get it with a bigger screwdriver, If u completly stripped it, then u need to drill it out. g/l

i did that a long time ago. i used a plier and thin flat scerwdriver. spent about an hour an it came out.
