Well to start off i really feel like crap right now. I put down soo much hard work and money, for this to happen to me.
Ill start off with the install on Saturday, everything was going ok had some few setbacks but got everything on. So im putting on the oil return line and its too long that i sort of have to bend it a bit, but still was ok. So that goes on and i start her up and it goes. Next day went to a friends house for the pump, injectors, and SAFC. Did the all of it fairly easy, didnt take long time. Did a pull on it and felt weird, so i tightened all the intercooler piping, and she pulled great. Went to a buddies house they wanted to ride in it, did a pull on it and the loved it. so its night and decide to do another small pull and it pulled good, just with a different tone in the spooling. Sort of deeper. So its monday, (2 days after) and take her to school and still with a deeper spool. Get out of school push it a bit and even deeper spool. Im worried so i go drive to a buddies house wich is about 30 miles away from my city to go tune it. Well im half way there and my car is like sounding like a damn boat. And i start smoking. i pull over to the side and it stopped but im dangerously too close to cars. So i had to drive it like a granny for about 1/4mile and get off the freeway. Called my friends, i checked the dipstick NO OIL!!!!! Im like WTF?!?!?! i barely changed it yesterday. I look under the car and its slowly pouring out. Not dripping kinda pouring. I look around and i see the oil return line and i FREAK OUT!!! its bent like a water hose would when you want the water to stop coming out. So the turbo has been stuck with the oil, and been pushing it out anyway it can. Theres dripping in the intake to turbo coupler i take it off and theres oil. At that point im thinking where all the oil go? then i called a tow truck, and i grabbed the LICP freaking out i take it off. Oil burst out everywhere..... Turbo has been trying to to force that oil out of there every way it can. i look at the turbo wheel and its CHIPPED OUT!!!! the blades are fucked and i noe my turbo fucked. Towed it to a buddies house and took all the piping off, fixed the return line and cleaned all the piping. Put some oil in turned on the car and no smoke. Drove the car a bit and wouldnt boost, instead i would get this annoying spin from it...... My turbo is gone. My brand new turbo. 2days..... I drove it home like a granny, accelerating like a geo metro. Barely got to 60mph. Parked it and just wanted to punch every wall in my house. Looked and cant afford a new turbo or a rebuild kit. Im seeing if i can return it. Saying it only drove for half an hour and it blew. Hopefully i can return it but i really doubt it, so im screwed. So right now my car drives but has the acceleration that people would honk at me. Im really trying to figure out a way to get my car running. I probably got enough money to get a 14b. and for sure getting a 1g oil return line fuck that hose. Im not trying to put the t25 back on. Its already getting sold. plus its too much trouble. Man if its the only day i hated my car, was yesterday.....

Dude, that is horrible. I seriously feel like crap for you man, I can't imagine how you feel. If you talk real nice to those guys I really hope that they will let you return it. I hope all works out for you man, keep us updated.

Damn man. This is why you have GOT to do the standard "drive around, pull off, look for leaks; repeat; repeat" everytime you mod the car.
![]() Good luck down the road, and if you have stock return line issues, cut the middle section (that ALWAYS tries to break) out and use hose instead.

Ouch. That's some shit right there
I mean I felt bad enough when I found out my 14b took a dump. I don't see why you couldn't get a brand new unit for free though - depends on where you got it I guess. That's also some good advice, Lando. You can never check too often after a big install like this. Hell, I was checking for leaks a couple days after the 14b install too

nah the turbo was brand new. I did check for leaks but i didnt see the line bent like that. It just did it. Im not sure why it chipped out like that. it just blew. Ill take a pic of it. I completely fixed the line now. And cleaned everything. i even gave it a little TLC and washed it
cleaned the carpet and everything. On the side note i called up the little business from ebay, and the guy cut me a brake and sending me a new turbo overnight delivery today, for a $250 deposit. And ill have to send him this one for inspection. If they do cover they'll send me my $250 back. If it doesnt i wont get the deposit back and they'll keep the fucked turbo and my $250. I guess to rebuild it or something. (Im supposed to not tell no one that he is doing this for me) lol. i was thinkin of getting a rebuilding kit and probably make it into a 20g, but i just dont want to go through the trouble of rebuilding i just want to put it on. So my turbo cost me $545(the blown one) plus this $250 I spent $795 On the turbo alone. So it kinda sucks. So i should get the turbo tomorrow, and hopefully can get it in by the end of the day. I just want the car to run and be able to accelerate faster than a damn geo.

Bad luck, but hopefully you can find enough money to get it all running right. Back in the day, my 16g cost someone $700 from FP. Good luck.

Well at least if they keep the $250 it is still better than having to spend full price for a new one...

so the lesson here is if installin a 16g on a 2g, you need a 1g return line rather than modifining the 2g?

Man that really sucks! I feel your pain! I would have cried if i were you. Man that sucks! Hope you get your money and your turbo back.

if you got a install kit and the turbo company doesnt pay up then go to the install kit people and complain to them
