WIP Veilside R33 GT-R

never get tired of these skylines do we i also bought this kit from niska very very heavy metal body kit didnt fit the first time was a little twisted but my hands and teethless plirs (sp?) fixed that anyways this kit will need LOTS of cutting heres some pics




dunno about color yet im thinking black but dunno stay tuned!

the side skirts on this kit are total bullhonkey i cut 1 stock side off only to find that the metal sideskirt didnt fit right and was to short im gonna patch the stocker back on looks better with the stock side skirts.

Wow, your camera Sucks. LOL j/p

Thanks an aggressive looking bumper. You should really invest in a new camera. Its impossible to see all the detail in these pictures. Black? I dunno, I think a light color would look pretty cool, but thats just IMO.
Im looking foward in seeing this one built.

i have a 3.1 mega pixel digi cam but it sucks on batterys close ups and indoor pics all of the reasons why i used the webcam

and i found out what i did wrong with the side skirts besides the fact they are to short i was supposed to kit around the door i cut threw it ROFL awsome o well little putty and sanding she will be fixed!

I think it's going to look pretty nice with the veilside kit but yea black would look nice but go with a differant color IMO green might look good but yea it's yours.

i might have to wait until i get a new body the side skirt is pretty screwed on 1 side i shoulda looked at the instructions before i cut

I have built this kit and it is a bitch, but its do able. If you havn't fixed the metal bits on yet I would suggest a coat of primer to show any flaws. I say this as the example I had, had lots of little pinhole/dimples which with hindsight I should have filled them before fixing on to the body. If your waiting on a new body anyway maybe you could do this. Good luck

i need to buy a new kit i was thinking about the tamiya r33 and put the kit wheels and other parts on it but im not sure its the same if you have these to kits could you look or take pics of them for me?

Not sure if the bodykit would fit a Tamiya R33. Just eyeballed the two and although the wheel base is the same length the Tamiya kit looks a little narrower. If I were you i'd try and pick up another cheap fujimi R33 as the bodies are likely to be more combatable, if not the same, There are always plenty on Ebay, you might get one cheap.
