Try Harbor Freight. Probably the best price for one of these Chinese lathes.

Im looking at the Sieg lathes right now. The HF lathes say they are 7x10, but they are really 7x8. Im looking at the Homier 7x12 right now.

I get mine from local machine shops, they will throw out the last 300mm (12") long lengths as they can't use it on their machine.
So find one and ask to check out their scrap bin.

Local supplies mainly because online stores charge through the roof for shipping.

Re: new lathe

HI Dwayne. Congrats to you and Paul on getting your Lathes. Super jealous now. Will look forward to seeing a lot more of your models on here from now on. No excuses now not to post.
Any thoughts of selling a few bits through your website? There would be a lot of Aussies(and Kiwis hehe) who would probably buy some who don't have access to a lathe.
Cheers
Tony
