sure if you dont mind spending the money. hes stupid for leaving it outside but whatever. if you can rebuild it for 500-1000 youve saved money.

if you buy it and find out that you don't want to fix it (if it needs fixing) you can sell parts of it on ebay. i'm sure you can make a profit if it comes to that.

Re: is this good for anything

250 IMO not worth it if its just the engine. Figure that all of the electric stuff is damaged, or at least the distributor. Im sure if its been weathered it looks like crap. Seals/gaskets have most likely rotted, leaving rust inside and water. Coolant couldnt have been tapped off so it will have crap in them also.

Plus you will have to tear the engine apart due to the rod knock and depending on condition the block will need to be bored out a certain amount and then it might not even be able to be salvaged...

IMO id say 150 MAX! but thats just my opinion. You can get b16a longblocks for $650 from hmotors

If its motor, tranny, ECU, its not a bad deal, pick it up.
If the block is toast, a new B16 block shouldn't cost much more than $200.

Re: is this good for anything

If there is still oil in it and has a Dipstick and Oil cap on... the head should be good... the head typicaly goes for 200-350 on ebay.

it's a toss up depends on haw bad it is.
