Different stock tire sizes on Tacomas? (PICS)
I will be purchasing a Regular Cab Tacoma, and I noticed something about the tires. Do the tires in the first picture look smaller than the tires in the second picture? Is it because of the fender flares in the second picture, giving it the illusion of larger tires. Or did Toyota manufacturers give larger tires with the Alloy Wheels package, which came bundled with the fender flares.
I like the look of larger tires, and for some reason, the tires in the second picture look larger. Maybe if I slap some fender flares on, it'll look better. Thanks

Depending on what options you buy with your Tacoma, you get different size wheels. If I remember correctly, the first picture has 15" wheels. I think it's the basic model Tacoma probably 2x4 also. The second pic has more options with flares, and I know those wheels are 16". The second might be a 4x4 also. I don't remember what size tire Toyota puts on the 15" wheel but I think the 16" wheel & tire will end up being just a little bit bigger.

Re: Different stock tire sizes on Tacomas? (PICS)
The sales man I talked to said that Toyota does have a few different size tires it puts on it's pre-runners and 4x4, the tire's in the top picture are smaller than the ones on the bottom, what Im looking at is the distance from the bottom edge of the bumper to the tire
