2001 Rodeo Sport Gas Tank
How big is the average Sport tank, mine is maybe just above 12 gallons, and seems small. My 99 Rodeo had a 17 gallon, and the manual said it should have a 17.
Anyone else? |

Re: 2001 Rodeo Sport Gas Tank
Why do you think your tank is only 12 gallons?

The manual says the 4-banger has a 17 gal. tank and 3.2 has a 15.7 gal tank. It also says at E, you should have about 2.9 gal. in the tank. I fought with my Isuzu dealer over that because my low fuel light kept coming on with 5+ gal. in the tank. He seemed to think that was OK. Had to point out that it could mean as much as driving an extra 100 miles (I get 23mpg hwy) ! Had it changed under warranty, but me thinks he either DID NOT change the part or calibrate the new one cause it acts exactly the same as before - needle fluxuates and light comes on at 5+ gals still...
