Hot start 96, Explorer

To keep it short, cleaned the MAF sensor, did a tune-up on normal components, and I still get a code PO401, having to do with the EGR valve. Replaced the EGR valve, and after only a couple of days, the code light is back on, same code, and still showing a rough hot start/idle. No other codes. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you check to make sure the intake wasn't plugged up while you had the EGR valve off? You may need to clean it out.
