I'm starting to loose it!

I am soooo freaking stressed out! My car died on me again. same goddam problem it always gives me. I took the battery off on saturday to do the mastercylinder for the clutch. when I reconected everything the car idled fine. I put it in gear and drive off, as soon as I got to a stop sign I step on the cutch to shift to N. as soon as my foot goes off the gas the car dies. I re-start it, put it in 1st, drive for like 5 feet, put it in N and let go off the gas and it dies again. the car wont hold idle. it did this same shit 3 months ago! the dealer charged me 300 bucks to fix my throttle body then, now they say its the Idle speed sensor and want 500 bucks to fix it! dammit! I am so close to driving this car off a cliff! I just bought the Eclipse which put me into some immidiate debt, the last thing I need is for the 3000GT to need repairs. and I still havent done the 120K tune up which is gonna be like a grand more. I'm still paying money on this bastard. I'm still paying 285 a month for an 11 year old car that wont even get me to work without giving me shit! I swear I am sooooo close to turning it in for an SRT or and EVO or hell I'll take a stock Scion TC for this shit! if 'm gonna pay for a car I expect it to at least run right.
I need a hug...... A hug and some freaking money!
good thing I dont drink other wise I'd be piss drunk and naked somewhere in southbeach righ now.

Re: I'm starting to loose it!

My car did the same thing to be after I changed the clutch. It looks like the idle thing happens every time you yank the battery and the ECU has to re-tune the fuel mapping so the RPM's don't drop like a rock every time you release the clutch. Mine went away after a couple days of driving (and the engine dying too many times) but if you are impatient, run around in a parking lot and rev the engine, release, drive around, release clutch and do that about a dozen times and see if the car figures out how how to slow down the engine without stalling the car.

Out of curiousity are you using a aftermarket flywheel?

Hey bro, sorry to hear about Musashi. I know it aint easy with all the bills rollin' in but just try and hang in there.... Ironic how much a car resembles women....they bring joy to your life but simultaneously so much pain and anguish as well....

No my flywheel is stock. I drove for 120 miles between Sat and Sun and I finally took her to the dealer on monday. I dont think after two days of constant driving, 120 miles and 14 near-miss accidents its gonna get any better. my computer must have ADD.
I got really good at left-foot braking though, I mean like really f*cking good! I have to now since I got to keep my right on the gas at all times. the scariest thing is going through toll booths or bumper to bumper traffic cause you gotta jump really quick between clutch and brake but you get used to it I suppose.

No I'm not getting the Scion bro, I just hate thinking I have to pay for something that is not responding. my car is in need of about 3000 bucks worth of repairs. I got a small hit that some dick gave me in a parking lot, I need the 120k tune up, my tie rods need changing, I got two cracked motor mounts, and my front main oil seal is leaking. I just think I could spend 3000 buck in alot better ways.
