Unhappy Running out of IDEAS

I put in a new Fuel pump, New Fuel filter, after 50 miles of running great the truck now hesitates on acceleration it feels like is not getting any gas, If I stop and turn the truck off for 5 seconds, it starts great and runs good for a little bit then goes back into the hesitation, I put in a new EGR valve, got Brand new Plugs, Even took the Throttle body apart and cleaned the hell out of it, same Problem I cleaned the MAF sensor too, I am starting to wonder if this could be the problem, I put in a new air filter and all, Any Ideas or help please!

Cat converter? O2 sensors, maybe?

What brand of spark plugs are you using?

To be honest, knock on wood, I've never experienced a cat or O2 sensor issues on my Rodeo - with 135K, I still have my original sensors.

But, I will say, the 85 Toyota that I occasionally drive does have an O2 going out on it, and it acts, on occasion like it's not getting enough air and hestitates/stumbles.

Just throwing ideas out

Re: Running out of IDEAS

I wonder if it could be your injectors themselves, going bad or possibly just clogged.

Have you taken that truck out on the highway, running open throttle to see what it does?

Also, not sure if you've tried/thought of it, but you may have some water in your tank. Run a bottle of "HEET" (yellow bottle) on at least half a tank of gas.

Can't answer your question about the Maf sensor, haven't crossed that path yet.

Keep posting, I'm very curious as to what it could be.

I would not suspect a fuel delivery concern if the truck starts & runs fine when cold. I would look into the MAF and also replace the autolites with NGK's. Denso's are not necessary on the 1993-1997. Has this truck ever had a cone or oiled air filter? Those foul up MAF's easily on these trucks.
G/luck

Re: Running out of IDEAS

Well problem is back

CEL codes read

P1171 manufacturer control, fuel/air metering

P0132 HO2S Circuit High Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1

P0157 HO2S Circuit Low Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 2

P0401 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Flow Insufficient

poured more HEET and went away again. can both my O2 sensors be bad??

Yes, it's possible.

Clean the EGR, run good quality gas - like Diamond Shamrock, Shell, Texaco and put some more HEET in. See where that gets u.
