My question is the following< I have a 1987 nissan 200sx, 2.0 liters
Can anybody helped, I have recently changed the 8 spark plugs in my 1987 200sx nissan, and when I turn the head lights and radio my car revolutions decrease and the car stop working. does anybody knows if my car has an idling screw?

yeah, ^^ he's right... there's 4 intake and 4 exhaust plugs.
 you can see all 8 wires. crazy. anyways, check the throttle body, were the throttle cables connect, or maybe it's on the ecu..

make sure your plug wires are fully pressed in...
and that they're going to the correct plug on the distrib cap, another thing is the intake takes different plugs than the exhasust.... it should say on the timing chain's covers.... if anything, go to autozone and they'll get you the correct plugs... well... that's all i can think of (i just got my 87' 200sx last week, lol) good luck, mai0f Last edited by mai0f; 03-13-2005 at 09:55 AM.

do you mean plugs of valves?? to me it doesn't make sense what you 200sx owners are saying.. spark plugs to ignite what comes into the engine and spark plugs to ignite whats going out of the engine?? either i'm lost here or you meant 8 valves.. but as far as i know the ca18 and ca20 are both 12 valve..

no.. it has 8 spark plugs.... i know that sounds crazy, but if you dont believe me come down to kansas and look at my car...
anywho... i gotta get going cuz my car's broke down at starbucks......

yeah, nissan has a few cars like that... I think some datsons had 8 plugs... I was saying that there's plugs on the intake side and the exhaust side not that it like ignites the air comming in..
