Open 62 Impala Trunk

I need someone to tell me how to open a trunk on a 1962 Impala SS from the back seat. Keys are missing and don't want to drill out lock. Already got seat out but don't know how to open it. Thank you.

Is there anything I can hit or pry with bar to open the trunk?

Use a ratchet and real long extension to remove the trunk latch through the hole behind the seat. Then the trunk will open and give you access to the latch, lock, etc.

I will remove the three screws on the back of the plate, right? Thank you for all of your help.
