I saw a car on autotrader, it's just a little ways north of Montreal, in Laval, the canadians will know it. It's a 1991 coupe, Silver with black interior, fully loaded, 5speed, it's a dealer called Jeff's Auto (sounds fishy) they're asking 2 grand (CDN). They don't say the mileage which means it's high and they don't have a picture which means it's in shitty condition, but it's worth a look since it's so close. And you never know, my dad's Altima didn't have the mileage mentioned and no picture, but turned out to be mint condition with low mileage! Anyways, I'll put up what I saw tomorrow. (They also say it's a 6cylinder so obviously they don't know shit.)

And there's this other one I'm ganna see this week or next it's a red 1992 hatch, but it's like an hour out of town, but in the picture it's in a showroom and it looks mint, it has 172,000kms (105,000miles), it's a 5speed, but they're asking 7grand, worth a look, I'm less excited about it.

yeah its starting to pick up now in turnover. i'd say you should be able to find one within a month or so.. but then it depends on what kind of price you can pay

I'll have 10 grand, I don't wanna spend half of that cause I wanna get rims, lower it and pay for inssurance and repairs for safety check, etc, etc.

why don't you get a project car and do exactly that? find one with a good frame and body, throw in a new ka (i'm not even sure what your plans are) then you'll have a ton of money for suspension, rims, brakes, everything else. if i could do this all over i'd do exactly that

Well I was ganna try with sideways' convertible, but I thought it over and I don't think I'm ready this summer for that, I just want a cool car I can drive, maybe in 2 years I'll see about getting a shell and doing everything.

Hey man 2 weeks ago I got my new 240. There was no pic or milage. The car turned out to be awesome. It needed a tune up and it needs the wires to be souldered for the HUD. Its a 1993 by the way, 12200 miles. Never had a tune up, still had the original spark plugs from back in 93. Runs great now tho, so good luck.

I know, it's crazy up here in Canada, you need a miracle to find one that's not rusted out and they still go for $5000+!! And I like the coupe better then the hatch, mainly for the sunroof, I hate pop-ups, but I want a sunroof! And I'm fucking ready for the initiation! lol There's just one problem....I have no money.....lol, it's ganna be like 2-3 weeks before I get the money from the bank and my mom doesn't have 2 grand lying around, my dad does, I'm sure, but he's in Toronto all week (5-6 hours away driving)....hopefully, my dad is coming back tomorrow (or came back tonight!) or my mom has a secret stash! Either way, I need to get that loan as soon as possible, but I need a job first, I quit my job last week, couldn't take it anymore, ganan apply in a movie theater tomorrow, they will accept me (my friend got a job there and he had no work experience, I have 6 months), but I dunno how long it'll take.

i like the hatch style better(not tryin to argue wit u or anythign) mainly cause of the tail lights...but i did see a kit on ebay that made the coupe look good as hell...i have a hatch but its the base model so i dont have power anything...but hey i can still manage...im still waiting for my initiation

Ya, well Karma got the best of him, instead of hitting me he went off the road and got 2 flats and 2 busted rims for driving like a jackass. Obviously he blames me for it because he can't get off his high horse and admit his wrong. But there is a thread called Who's Fault in COT for that story.
