rims and lowering the suspension
i just bought myself a white 2000 G20 over the summer and im new to the forum... ive done little adjustments to it so far (tints, exhaust, xenon headlights) this summer i want to have 17" chrome rims on it...i also want to lower the car. How much do i lower the car...how much does it cost..also how do i go about it? are there certain brand names i should look for? and one more thing about the rims..do i have to buy new tires? should i? whats teh difference? i need some direction on how to go about all of this

If you're going for 17" rims, you are going to have to get low profile tires.
As for suspension, it depends on what type of suspension setup you want. There are JIC coilovers which are around $1400 USD - which as good as you can get (that will give you a 2" drop safely), then there is the TEIN NA suspension which is around $1200 USD (will go as low as 1.9") and there are other types of suspension setups out there like Eibach Springs and what not. Some suspension setups are not complete setups like the TEIN and JIC Coilovers. If you're on a fixed budget and want a nice drop, look into something like the Eibach Springs.

As Atomic-G said is spot on.
Becareful if you just go for the lowering springs as this can really firm up the ride so much that you will be unhappy with it. It will give you the look you are after but not the best performance.

Suspension wise, I would go with GC over KYB AGX. This will give you the ride quality and performance you need with the ability to change it at will for relatively low cost.

whats the difference between GC and KYB AGX? they are cheaper than getting the JIC coilcovers? same quality though? and when vueman said low cost, how low? around how much would it cost
|

my friend actually is trying to convince me to put white rims on it, im not sure if i like it, are they cheaper than regular rims?....anyway i think im set on chrome..i think..i defintely will check this out for shits and giggles ya know, thanks for your opinion ill defintely check it out and let u know what i think.
