93' Deville Transmission Removal 4.9

Does anyone know any links on how to take out the transmission of a 93 caddy sedan deville... w/ the 4.9 engine in it? or have a picture guide or a site i can go to for that???

Your best bet is to try and pick up a GM service manual on ebay. Those transmissions are a bear to remove.

yea... were prolly just gonna drop the whole engine and bottom craddle to get it out... unplug all the hoses and wires and such

You really do need the factory service manual. I'm pretty sure on those cars, you need to drop the whole engine and transmission as one piece.
You can subscribe to the service information at www.alldata.com. They have the complete service manual, TSB's, recalls, etc that you will need for your car.
