aluminium engine?
Hey guys,
I was talking with my friends and he asked me what kind of engine nissans have and more specificaly a murano 2002. I have no idea does anyone know? and Is it better to have aluminium engines? thanks |

Yeah, it's aluminum. The engines in the Maxima, 350Z, Murano, the optional V6 in the Altima, and the one in the Quest are all exactly the same. Nissandriven.com. Check it out for more info.
Aluminum is lighter, slightly more durable, and it doesn't change its size quite as much under the heated conditions of the engine. That means things stay nice and tight. |

All VQ35 engines are aluminum. Which LesGrandsPied states the following models that have the VQ35 engines:
Nissans 350Z, Maxima, Altima V6, Murano Infiniti: G35, FX35/45, M35/45
