Question Clutch Pedal

Does anyone know how to remove clutch pedal???
I drive 1996 VW Passat GLX Man.
Please Help.

I suspect you may have the same problem I had.

I had a spot weld fail on my clutch pedel ('97 GLX), which allowed the clutch master cylinder piston rod to push through the pedal assembly. I repaired this by bending the piston rod bracket back into place and hand fabricating a sleeve (out of some 1/16" sheet metal) to hold the bracket in place. VW conveniently provided two holes in the pedal shank to bolt the sleeve in place. You have to bend the clutch pedal switch out of the way to add the sleeve, and add a piece of sheet metal to operate the switch.

All this took less thatn 4 hours and the fix has so far lasted 8 months. Cost was $0.
