engine codes

I have been having problems with my 02 GA not wanting to run. I finally got it to start and I borrowed a code reader and it had a engine misfire code 300B. It was also showing that cylinders 2 and 3 were the ones misfiring. What might be the problem before i begin buying parts that I might not need. I was thinking that it is the ignition coils? Help if you can.
Thanks
david h

Re: engine codes

I would suspect fouled plugs/wire or clogged/burnt out injector's first but could also be coil. Good Luck.

Thanks for the welcome. I was able to borrow a code reader from a friend and according to it the injectors were working fine but i have not pulled the plugs to check them, also there are no wires because the coils sit directly above each plug with a rubber boot to separate.
