Brake Install

Hey, I'm finally getting my baby back after 55 days in the body shop! and I'm finally gonna get to install my z32 front brakes. Once i get the calipers powder-coated and get one more set of pads, Im gonna install them and I was wondering what everyone's opinion was about brake fluid preference? Also, any special tools needed to complete the install, and any good sites for a step-by-step? Ive looked the heavythrottle walk-through and one other, can't think of it, but any advice or "look-out-fors" would be great! Btw, how much did it cost you all who have done the install to buy the 300z MC, and any tubing or plumbing costs required for that? Alrite, well thanks for the help and I'll be sendin pics soon once I get my new vid/pic camera.

Re: Brake Install

according to some reviews....

"Ate Super Blue" : blue color for distinction of clean/dirty/leaky brake fluid. Dry boil point of 280 C (536 F) and wet boil point of 200 C (392 F)... supposedly this is better than DOT 4 requirements. According to a reviewer it never boiled at track events at high temps. also comes in metal cans to prevent water absorbtion so you can store away for long periods of time.

"ATG gold 200" : gold in color. same boiling points just different color so you easily switch back n forth. You can also tell when you completely bleed out the old fluid in the system.

I got this from zilvia.net ... so i'm not taking any credit for it.

btw... that's a nice conversion.

Re: Brake Install

ATE is what I'll be using as soon as I get brakes that could utilize it
