Squeak-squeak

If any of you ever have a late model Cherokee that develops a squeek in the front, check your front stabilizer bar bushings right up near the bottom of the radiator. Those bushings dry out and eventually disintegrate. They can make a sound that will drive you nuts, but replacing these is less than $100 anywhere. Just squirt a little Marvel Mystery oil on them and that squeek goes away temporarily, but at least you know what is causing it. I've had to replace them on both my old '94 and my newer 2000 Sports.
