I have an AEM short ram intake. I love the way it sounds. Took about 10 minutes to install. You won't go wrong with this one

Re: Short Ram Air intake

It's up to you. If you take it out then you may lose your in'er finder well. But it's fine, leave it there. You are very new at this uh? That's cool, you can learn alot from hear. The intake will be about the easy'es thing to do, other than a strut bar.

Re: Short Ram Air intake

any old intake works fine its mainly the filter so get an ebay cheapie and K&N filter.

Install is a breeze takes under an hour with a few simple hand tools

hmmm

yesss i know what you guys are saying, but the way i see it is when i connect the air intake, there is no reason why i should need the box in the bottom. The box im talking about is the one beside the right turning light, beside the right wheel.

Re: Short Ram Air intake

I know what your talking about, but there is really no reason to take it out unless you are gonna get a cold air. Why take the time to take off the wheel, remove the iner wheel well cover and take all the bolts off holding it up, then ahave to put it all back on and hope the well will go back on. It's really ugly with out it and dirt gits in there alot easyer from you wheel spining. But like i said do what you want to, there is just know reason.
