Where is light bulb located for ash tray on 97 Camry LE.
The ash tray sits under A/C Heater control panel.

Re: No one knows this

I have the 97 camry Le and the light bulb for the ash trey is behind the pannels. To get to it is very easy. Put the e-brake on. Make sure the car is off. Put the car in Low gear. (this is to get the shifter out the way.) pull out the ash trey and the cig lighter. Grab ahold of the opening where the ash trey goes and start to pull that pannel off. It will come off all the way from the ash trey to the top of the radio. The light is stuck in a slot on the back of the pannel. Hope that I helped.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
