Please Help Me!

I have an 01 passat 1.8t and when i turn the steering wheel to either side it make this horrible noise, another problem is that when i try to use the signal lights they run for about 3or 4 seconds then i have to push the lever back up and try the signal light again (either side). sometimes when i begin to pull off froma stop sign or signal light they work. the last problem is that when i first crank up the car it makes this awful noise and keeps making this noise until u turn the car off. it like a cricket noise. please someone help me or give me some advice. thank you all.

#3 Sounds like a loose or worn belt.

For #3 definitely have your belts inspected for wear. If you lose your serpentine belt you'll be calling AAA for a pick up!
