Unhappy New member -needs help

Hi, I'm John and i am beginning to hate my 1995 Chevy blazer.
I have replaced the spark plugs, wires. It still uses gas and you smell fumes. We were told to put seafoam in it so I did. Now it won't hardly run. All it does is spit and sputter. PLEASE HELP!

there was a message about the seafoam awhile back. Search seafoam in the forums search engine could help you out. Welcome to the forum.

Re: New member -needs help

um.. when you run seafoam you have to change your plugs afterwards because they usally get fouled and you must let the seafoam idle for like 30 minutes or something like that. Don't drive the car around. Possible CPI problem- Search that -you may find some info.

Thank you so much. We changed the plugs cleaned the EGR valve and it runs a little better but still idles rough. What else can we do? Where is the CPI located and how do we check it or clean it?
