Re: please SHUT UP!

Tighten all your bolts and check seals.

Re: please SHUT UP!

Also if you take the plastic off on the inside at the very back that covers tail lights ect. you can take the latch off and file some grooves in the latch to move it down, and if you have access to a welder then weld washers where you want you new holes for the bolts and it will be a much tighter fit and will stop rattling. I know its a lot of work for just a little rattle but i did this to mine 3 yrs ago and havn't heard a peep since

Re: Re: please SHUT UP!

if you are talking about the hatch it's self, there are some rubber pieces you can twist one way or another. i suggest turning them out. i don't have a diagram of a hatch so here's the next best thing...

you're looking for the part of that pic that says "tailgate edge cushion"

exactly what i was gonna suggest. i made these little fancy rubber things stick out further, so it just closes tighter. you'll notice also that after you do this, when you open your hatch it doesnt just release, it will have some real 'pop' to it. its not necessarily 100% effective, but its definitely the easiest option to at least improve the situation.

Re: please SHUT UP!

This happens to CRXs as well. Custom taping in a similar part has solved the problem. I'm half deaf and I still had this issue.
