Re: Name 10 of the REALLY heavy but high potential street racing machines
Most muscle cars and V8 machines.
MKIV is the first that comes to mind.

A 7000+lb Dodge extended cab cummins powered truck went 12.34 on me last Saturday at the track. THe truck made 734hp and around 1400ft/lbs torque!!!!!! BTW, that was off of the nitrous. I saw it unhooked behind his seat. That's ok, I have something for his A$$, just a matter of getting it hooked up.
Any of these new trucks can be made to go extremely fast. I have several buddies with trucks like mine running 11s and 12s consistently. Don't count out these new 6.0L GTOs. We had an older one with the ls1 go 10s.

Yes.. Ws-6's and SS camaro's are fairly heavy. Also, old muscle cars usualy aren't as heavy as people think, but they are heavy by today's standards and can be made to go fast.

Re: Name 10 of the REALLY heavy but high potential street racing machines
that cummins dodge probably had propane (not nitrous) Thats basically Nitrous for diesels.
How about the Thunderbird? Heavy, (Its classified as a "personal luxury coupe"), has the 96-98 Mustang GT Engine, IRS... The 94 NPI 4.6 doesnt have a big aftermarket tho..I'd know..lol Or the Lincoln Mark VII...Has the 87-93 Mustang GT engine, 225 HP. Basically anything that would work on the 5.0 Mustang motor, works on this...its the rich mans Mustang.. Even the Lincoln Mark VIII. Has the DOHC 4.6L (yes...the Cobra motor, with softer internals) Its good for 280 HP in LSC trim, and 265 (?) in non LSC form. Comes with factory air ride suspension too. Decent aftermarket.
