weird hesitation

i noticed over the past week that when i first start my car it runs perfect until the temp. gets to 100 degrees. after that my air/fuel guage bounces between rich and lean, and even disappears off the lean side. While the gauge bounces around the car feels like its missing here and there. does this sound like it could be 02 sensors or emisions related? it only does it after 100 degrees. thanks

Re: weird hesitation

I suggest fuel injector cleaner...fixed my problem in a couple of days. I didnt have an air fuel gauge, but I did have a nasty hesitation in acceleration.

check for faulty coolant temperature sensor. the computer adjusts injector pulse width for lean/rich status of gas according to the temperature of the engine. when the engine is cold more gas is added to the air/fuel mixture (rich) to run and the computer leans the mixture out to a ratio of 14.7 air to 1 gas as the engine warms up. and running a code check isn't a bad idea if the mixture has been off for a while it can (a slight chance) lead to O2 sensor and cat problems.
