1986 Caprice Classic
Hi,
I 'm to -or better, I'd like to- convert the multirod gearchange system to a cable operated one, with a very nice floorshifter.. so I welded a small 5 cm/2" bracket to screw to "the nameless bolt", sticking out of the left of my 700R4 (identified by tommySS btw), to connect the cable to.. but, where or how do I fix the outer-screw-part of the cable ? Maybe a standard kit, or one or another constructive idea from overseas ? thanks, regards, Rush |

Re: 1986 Caprice Classic
Try welding a piece onto it. Or if your not good with that, have someone elso do it (if you know anybody who does that kind of stuff). Also I think there are some kits out there, take a look.
