Hi, I just got a 1997 Jeep Wranger but it didn't come with an owner's manual. I need to change the oil and spark plugs in it. If anyone has an owners manual with these specifications in it could you tell me what kind of oil it takes and how much, and what kind of plugs to use. It's a 4 cylinder. Thanks.

Re: 1997 Wrangler questions.
The 2.5 liter 4 cyl. takes between 4-5 qts of oil. Put in 4, run the engine for a minute, and check level. Top off as required. I would use 5w30 or 10w30. As for the spark plugs, just have the auto parts store look them up for you. If you want more information on your truck, check out alldata.com, or pick up a Hanes manual in any auto parts store.
